    Martinus Fuldensis wird der Verfasser einer Chronik der Päpste und Kaiser bis 1379 (gedruckt Eccard, Corp. I, 1642) genannt, doch ist der Name zweifelhaft, sicher aber gehörte er dem Minoritenkloster in Fulda an. Er setzte seine Chronik aus Auszügen einiger allgemein bekannter Werke zusammen und|hat daher für uns geringen Werth; im letzten Theil sind einige freimüthige Aeußerungen gegen Johann XXII. und zu Gunsten Ludwigs des Baiern und Günthers bemerkenswerth.
