Biography

Lehmann: Joh. Christ. L. wurde in Bautzen 1675 geboren, studirte in Leipzig Medicin und Naturwissenschaften, promovirte und wurde Professor der Physik und Medicin. Er erwarb sich Verdienste um die Verbesserung der sächsischen Salzwerke. Sein Hauptwerk ist: „Utilitatis physicae vera Specimina II“, Lipsiae 1714—36. L. starb 1739.
