Biographical Presentation
Kohlhaas: Johann Jacob, Arzt und Stadtphysicus zu Regensburg, geb. zu Markgröningen 1747, widmete sich neben seinem Berufe der Naturgeschichte, namentlich der Botanik und wurde 1790 zum Präsidenten der botanischen Gesellschaft in Regensburg gewählt. K. starb 1811. Er schrieb: „Anleitung zur Bildung ächter Wundärzte“, 6 Bde., Regensburg 1784—94 und „Einleitung in die Naturgeschichte überhaupt und in die Kräuterkunde besonders“, Nürnberg, 1803.
