  • Biographical Presentation

    Köhler: J. Ch. K., Hofjuwelier in Dresden, thätig um 1720—1730. Arbeiten seiner Hand sind bisher mit Bestimmtheit nur im Grünen Gewölbe zu Dresden nachgewiesen, so die Kroninsignien August's III., eine Uhr, welche bei Graesse, Das Grüne Gewölbe, Taf. 58 a abgebildet ist, Elfenbeinfigur der Barbara Uttmann und vieles Andere, im ganzen etwa 25 verschiedene Stücke. Wol ein Nachkomme von ihm fertigte den Stock Kurfürst Johann Georg III. bezeichnet: Dresdae fecit C. Köhler 1667.
