Köhler: Joh. Gottlieb Friedr. K., geistlicher Liederdichter geb. in Stuttgart am 3. Juni 1788, Repetent in Tübingen 1812, Helfer in Vaihingen 1815, Stadtpfarrer in Lauffen 1824, Pfarrer in Degerloch 1834, starb im früh aufgenöthigten Ruhestand nach langen Leiden in seiner Vaterstadt am 23. Febr. 1855. Von den 1863 aus seinem Nachlaß herausgegebenen „Liedern unter dem Kreuz“ stehen viele treffliche in Knapps Liederschatz, 3. Aufl.
