    Adelsgeschlecht der Krain, erbländisch-österreichischer Grafenstand 1767. Zu ihm gehören →Sigismund Anton (1730–1820), Jesuit, 1791-94 Bischof von Triest, dann von Sankt Polten und Heeresvikar, seit 1803 Erzbischof von Wien (siehe Wurzbach IX; LThK²; ÖBL), und →Sigismund (1745–1825), seit 1809 Bischof von Linz, Naturforscher (besonders Mineralogie und Botanik) (siehe ADB XII; LThK; Wurzbach IX).
