  • Biographical Presentation

    Hoffmann: Jacob H., einer der geschicktesten Nürnberger Goldschmiede aus der Blüthezeit der Goldschmiedekunst. Er war in allen Arten der Technik, welche die Goldschmiede des 16. Jahrhundert übten, im Gießen, Treiben, Emailliren, Graviren, Zeichnen, Medailliren, Steinschneiden etc. geübt. Er starb 1564. Da seine officielle Marke nicht bekannt ist, haben Arbeiten von ihm sich bis jetzt nicht nachweisen lassen.
