  • Biographical Presentation

    Hocheisen: Johann Georg H,. geb. zu Ulm 1677, gest. zu Breslau am 21. Januar 1712 als Professor der orientalischen Sprachen am dortigen Magdalenen-Gymnasium. Von Ulm war er zunächst als Hofmeister nach Tübingen, von da nach Wittenberg, später in derselben Eigenschaft nach Hamburg gekommen. Von seinen Schriften (A. Weyermann, Nachrichten von Gelehrten, Künstern etc. von Ulm) ist zu nennen: „De Ebraeorum vocalium officio et valore in constituendo syllabo“. Wittenberg 1705.
