Biographical Presentation
H. ist nach dem Stamser Katalog Verfasser eines „Liber de eo quod est maximum mandatum“, der identisch mit dem pseudothomistischen „Opusculum de dilectione Dei et proximi“ ist, sowie eines „Liber exemplorum“. Dieser ist nicht der „Liber de exemplis et similitudinibus rerum“, obwohl in dem Prolog der Ausgaben H. als Verfasser genannt wird. Dies Werk stammt von Johannes a S. Geminiano. Vermutlich ist H. mit dem Erfurter Lektor Helwig von Germar identisch, der dem Schülerkreis um →Meister Eckhart angehört und von dem zwei deutsche Predigten überliefert sind.
