Biographical Presentation
Beczwarzowsky: Anton Felix B., geb. 9. April 1754 zu Jungbunzlau in Böhmen (Pfarr-Reg.), war in seiner Jugend als Organist an der Jesuitenkirche in Prag angestellt und ist als solcher namentlich rühmend erwähnt. Er lebte dann als herzoglicher Kapellmeister in Braunschweig und einige Jahre in Bamberg und privatisirte seit dem Anfang des Jahrhunderts in Berlin, wo er|sich dem Unterricht widmete. Man kennt von ihm Concerte und Sonaten für Clavier und Gesänge mit Pianofortebegleitung, die bei Andre in Offenbach, Schlesinger in Berlin und anderwärts erschienen. B. starb allgemein geachtet am 15. Mai 1823 zu Berlin. Ein Enkel von ihm, Gustav von B., Major und Bataillons-Commandeur, erlag am 26. Nov. 1870 seinen am 30. August im Kampfe bei Beaumont erhaltenen Wunden.
