Biographical Presentation
Hagen: Bartholomäus H., Theolog, von Tübingen, wo er 1538 inscribirte, 1546 magistrirte, kam als Pfarrer von Dettingen bei Kirchheim u. T. in den 1550er Jahren in Verdacht, ein Anhänger Calvin's zu sein, mit welchem er allerdings Briefe wechselte. Er wurde daher 1559 vor eine Synode in Stuttgart geladen, und mußte ein Andreä-Brenz’sches Glaubensbekenntniß annehmen, das fortan jeder Kirchendiener in Würtemberg zu unterschreiben hatte. Es ist die von Melanchthon mit dem Prädicat „Hechinger Latein“ beehrte Confessio.
