Biographical Presentation
Alemann: Jacob A., aus altem Magdeburger Patriciergeschlecht, beider Rechte Doctor, 1603—1630 Beisitzer in dem Schöffenstuhl zu Magdeburg, des Herzogs von Braunschweig und Bischofs von Halberstadt Rath und Kanzler schrieb: „Palaestra consultationum iuris illustrium prima“, Magdeb. 1613 das. 1621. „Discursus feudalis de iure simultaneae investiturae“, ebd. 1616. „De clausulis rescriptorum“, Altorf 1680. Bei Lipenius werden von ihm noch angeführt: „Oratio, utrum magis ex usu reipublicae sit, reges vel principes successione, quam electione libera, sorte, aliove modo summae rerum praefici?“ Wittenberg 1596, welche Schrift auch in die „Palaestra consultationum“ aufgenommen ist, und „Centuria thematum de revocatione donationis“, Basel 1598.
