    Goltz: Franz Karl, Baron v. d. G., war aus der Neumark gebürtig, diente während des siebenjährigen Krieges mit Auszeichnung in der Garde du Corps. 1793 war er als Generalmajor Intendant des vivres und Assessor beim Ober-Kriegs-Collegium. Später wurde er Generallieutenant, Kriegsminister, Chef des Militär-Departements und Director des ersten Departements im Ober-Kriegs-Collegium, in welcher Stellung er 1804 starb.
