    Friderich: Melchior F., Canonist, geb. zu Landsberg in Oberbaiern, gest. 28. Juli 1709 (nach Prantl 8. Juli 1708) zu Ingolstadt. Er trat in den Jesuitenorden, wurde in Ingolstadt 1687 Professor der Ethik, 1700 ordentlicher Professor des canonischen Rechts und schrieb unter andern: „Tractatus de foro competente", 1708, Edit. II 1710; „Quaestiones canonicae de decimis“, 1709; „Quaestiones de simonia“, 1709.

      |Der Artikel Friderich, Melchior, ist hier zu streichen, da er S. 390 voce Friederich nochmals folgt (wobei übrigens dahingestellt bleibt, welche Schreibung des Namens die correcte ist. Wir bemerken, daß wir den auf S. 383 stehenden Artikel erst erhielten, als sich das Manuscript des Buchstaben F. längst nicht mehr in unserer Hand befand und dadurch eine Controle nicht mehr möglich war. Die Redaction muß die Verschuldung der Irrung insofern ablehnen).

    Friederich: Melchior F., geb. zu Landsberg in Oberbaiern, Jesuit, in Ingolstadt seit 1687 Professor der Moral, seit 1700 des Kirchenrechts, starb daselbst 28. Juli 1709. Seine Schriften bieten nichts neues, sondern lediglich Wiederholungen aus den damals im Gebrauche befindlichen; sie sind: „Tract. de consanguinitate“. Aug. Vind. 1698; „Emtio et venditio ad legem Dei|et humanam formata“, Dill. 1700. 4.; „Tract. de foro competente“, Ingolst. 1706. 4. 2. Ausg. 1710.
