Biographical Presentation
Freislich: Maximilian Theodor F., geboren zu Immelborn im Meiningen’schen am 7. Febr. 1663, starb als Capellmeister zu Danzig am 10. April 1731. Er wurde seiner Zeit unter die besseren Componisten gerechnet, doch ist von seinen Werken nichts gedruckt worden.
Johann Balthasar Christian F., sein Neffe, geboren zu Immelborn gegen Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts, kam 1720 als Capellmeister nach Sondershausen und 1731 an Stelle seines Onkels nach Danzig, wo er nach Adlung noch 1757 gelebt haben soll. Er hat viel für Kirche und Kammer geschrieben, doch ist auch von seinen Werken nichts gedruckt worden.
