    Zu der in der Gegend von Osnabrück ansässigen Pastorenfamilie gehören u. a. →Friedrich Wilhelm (1794–1848), Dialektforscher, Herausgeber von „Plattdeutsche Briefe, Erzählungen und Gedichte“ (1845) (s. ADB 52) und dessen Sohn →Justus Wilhelm (1822–82), Pastor, Komponist von Volks- und Studentenliedern, u. a. „Der Mai ist gekommen“, „Keinen Tropfen im Becher mehr“ und „Es schienen so golden die Sterne“ (s. L).
