Lutterbeck, Anton Lutteroth, Ascan Wilhelm

  • Biographical Presentation

    Aus der Freien Reichsstadt Nordhausen am Harz stammende Ratsfamilie, hier bis 1667 ansässig, seit 1590 auch in Magdeburg, dann in Wernigerode, Dortmund und Gronau. →Ascan (1563–1636) war 1612-28 reg. Bürgermeister in Magdeburg. →Christian (1675–1720) gründete eine Tuchfabrik in Mühlhausen (Thüringen). Hier war →Gottfried (1741–1804) der letzte Bürgermeister der Freien Reichsstadt. Nach Hamburg kamen Angehörige der Familie 1813 und gründeten hier ein Bankhaus. Hermann Frhr. v. L. (österr. Adel 1852, 1808-90) war Bankier und deutscher Generalkonsul in Triest.
