1895 - 1978, Hirsh Bloshteyn published his first novella in the Odessa newspaper "Undzer lebn", he then moved to Kharkov, where he worked as an editor in the publishing house "Yidish", translated theater pieces and published poems in the "kharkover tsaytung". In 1925 he migrated to Argentina where he edited the journal "Naye velt" and taught in a school. In 1931 he went back to the Soviet Union and settled in Kharkov. After the second World War he moved to Tshernovits where he worked as a local reporter for the journal "Eynikayt". He later published poems and memoirs in the journal "Sovetish heymland".
