    Herwich: Bischof von Meißen, als Benno's Nachfolger seit 1106, aus unbekanntem Geschlechte, † am 27. Juni 1118 oder 1119. Er ist der Stifter des von Meißen abhängigen Collegiatstiftes Wurzen, das er mit Einkünften aus dem Burgwart Pouch, dem Zolle zu Wurzen und verschiedenen Grundstücken ausstattete und das 1114 eingeweiht wurde.
