Georgi, Hieronymus Georgi, Johann Gottlieb

  • Biographical Presentation

    Georgi: Johann G. errichtete im J. 1664 zu Leipzig eine Buchdruckern und leitete sie bis zum J. 1701, worauf sie an Johann Caspar Müller im J. 1702 überging und im J. 1717 von Bernhard Christoph Breitkopf aus Clausthal, der die Wittwe 1719 geheirathet hatte, fortgesetzt wurde (siehe den Artikel Breitkopf u. Härtel Bd. III. S. 296), so daß sie unter anderer Firma heute noch besteht. Ueber das Leben von G. ist weiter nichts bekannt.
