    Crusius: Hermann C., Pädagog und lateinischer Dichter des 17. Jahrhunderts, geb. 1640 zu Moers, Rector der lateinischen Schule zu Elberfeld 1665 bis 1680, Rector zu Moers 1680—1693, † 11. April 1693. Er gab einen Band lateinischer Epigramme heraus, die seine Meisterschaft im dichterischen lateinischen Ausdruck beweisen: „H. Crusii Meursani — Epigrammatum Libri IX. Duisburgi ad Rh. ap. Franconem Sas — Anno M. DC. LXXIX. 12“. Außerdem erschien von ihm: „Oratio epigraphica — in Natalem Guilielmi Tertii, Magnae Britanniae Regis etc.“ (Duisburg 1689) fol.
