  • Biographical Presentation

    Creide: Hartmann C., am 5. Octbr. 1606 in der oberhessischen Stadt Friedberg geboren, studirte in Gießen und (als die hessen-darmstädtische lutherische Universität 1624 von Gießen nach Marburg verlegt war) in Marburg, wurde dann Prediger in Friedberg, 1649 Diaconus und späterhin Pastor und Senior zu Augsburg und starb am 8. Aug. 1656 zu Schwalbach, wohin er sich zum Gebrauche der dasigen Heilquellen begeben hatte. Er hinterließ zahlreiche kleinere Schriften ascetischen Inhalts.
