    Kleinschmid: Christoph Ludwig K., Jurist, geb. am 19. April 1723 in Witzenhausen, studirte von 1742—48 in Jena, Marburg und Rinteln, ward 1755 Amtsschultheiß zu Lichtenau, 1763 Regierungsarchivar in Cassel und starb|am 18. April 1774. Landgraf Wilhelm VIII. übertrug ihm die Herstellung der von den Landständen gewünschten Gesetzsammlung für die Hessen-Casselschen Lande. Sie erschien unter dem Titel „Sammlung fürstl. hessischer Landesordnungen und Ausschreiben etc.“, Thl. I, von 1337—1627. Thl. II von 1627—70 (Cassel 1770, Fol.). Fortsetzung von Chr. Gerh. Apell, Thl. III, IV, V (Cassel 1777—84. Fol.).
