  • Biographical Presentation

    Junge: Ernst Friedrich J., geb. 1796 zu Dornburg bei Zerbst, † am 22. Januar 1840 zu Zeitz. Er doctorirte 1820 in Halle, wurde dort Lehrer am Pädagogium und an der Hauptschule, dann Lehrer und später Professor der Mathematik am Gymnasium zu Zeih. Er verfaßte zwei Schulprogramme „Die Spirale des Archimedes“ (1826) und „Zur Geschichte der griechischen Astronomie“ (1830), denen Interesse nachgerühmt wird.
