Biographical Presentation
Winther: David W., Franciscaner, geboren zu Straubing 1654, † zu München am 13. Januar 1724. W. war Lector der Theologie im Kloster zu München; 1701, zur Zeit als nach dem Willen des Kurfürsten Max Emanuel das Kloster zu Schleißheim¶ von München aus gegründet wurde, war er Guardian des Münchener Convents; 1704—1708 Provinzial der bairischen Ordensprovinz, später Definitor. — Er verfaßte die Schriften: „De ministro sacramenti poenitentiae" (Monachii 1689); „De Missae stipendio“ (Monachii 1697); „De silentio triplici, naturali, civili et sacramentali“ (Monachii 1701).
