Biographical Presentation
Vrie: Theodorich V., Augustiner. Er war Lector der Theologie im Kloster der Augustiner-Eremiten zu Osnabrück, wohnte dem Constanzer Concil bei und schrieb 1448 ein Buch darüber, zum Theil in Versen, unter dem Titel Liber de consolatione Ecclesiae. Es ist dem Kaiser Sigismund gewidmet, wurde 1488 zu Köln bei Johann von Lübeck gedruckt und von Hermann von der Hardt in den ersten Band seines großen Sammelwerkes über das Concil zu Constanz, Frankfurt 1700, aufgenommen. V. spricht sehr freimüthig über die damaligen Schäden der Kirche.
