    Dinckel: Johannes D., Generalsuperintendent zu Coburg, geb. zu Tröchtelborn bei Gotha 23. Juni 1545, 14. Dec. 1601 zu Coburg, studirte Theologie zu Wittenberg, wurde erst Professor der Logik und hebräischen Sprache zu Erfurt, dann (1580) Rector und Diaconus zu Gotha, endlich 1583 Generalsuperintendent zu Coburg. Unter seinen Schriften verdienen Erwähnung: „Epitome grammaticae ebraeae“, 1579; „Calendarium poeticum“, 1589 und „De usu dialecticae“, 1579 und wieder 1589.
