Biographical Presentation
Bischof: Karl August Leberecht B., geb. am 3. Aug. 1762 in Neuhaus bei Meißen, 1796 Rector und Lehrer der Geschichte, Geographie und Naturlehre an der Armen- und Waisenschule in Hofmark Fürth, und starb als Diurnist im Staatsschuldentilgungsbureau zu München am 23. Jan. 1814. Er schrieb „Vorlesungen über die mathematische und physikalische Erdbeschreibung", 2 Bde., 1796 (2. Aufl. 1814). „Vorlesungen über die vornehmsten Gegenstände der Natur“, 2 Bde., 1799—1800. „Physisch-technologisches Handbuch“, 2 Bde., 1791. „Kurze Geschichte des zwischen Frankreich und Oesterreich und den beiderseitigen Alliirten ausgebrochenen Krieges, am Ende des Jahres 1805“ 1806, u. s. w.
