Biographical Presentation
Konrad I., Herzog von Kärnten, auch Kuono genannt, Sohn Otto's von Franken, des früheren Kärntner Herzogs, 1005 als solcher genannt, Gatte Mathildens, der Tochter Herzog Hermanns II. von Schwaben; ein heftiger, schlagfertiger Mann, der bald das Schwert gezückt hätte, als König Heinrich II. auf dem Annaburger Hoftage (1005, Ende September) Konrads Heirath mit einer Blutsverwandten heftig tadelte. Er starb 1012.
