Weidner: Johannes W., gelehrter Arzt und Stadtphysicus in Sprottau, geboren 1540, † 1612, unterhielt einen ausgedehnten wissenschaftlichen Briefwechsel mit mehreren gelehrten Zeitgenossen und publicirte auch selbständig u. a.: „De arte chymica ejusque cultoribus“ (Bautzen 1610).
