    Bijns: Anna B., nahm in den Religionskämpfen der Niederlande eifrig Partei für die katholische Kirche. Ihre „Refereynen“, Gedichte in der Art der|Rederijker, erschienen 1528, 1548 und 1567; im letztgenannten Jahre von Hendrik Peppink, dem Franciscanerprovincial von Antwerpen, herausgegeben. Nach seinen Mittheilungen war A. B. Lehrerin zu Antwerpen gewesen und hatte etwa fünfzig Jahre lang gegen Luther gekämpft. Nähere Bestimmungen über ihre Lebensverhältnisse sind nicht mit Sicherheit zu geben.
