Biographical Presentation
Meurer: Wolfgang M., wurde zu Altenberg am 13. Mai 1513 geb., studirte zu Leipzig Philosophie und Medicin, wurde zuerst Conrector an der Thomasschule, dann Rector an der Nikolaischule daselbst, 1549 Doctor und schließlich Professor der Medicin. Er starb zu Leipzig am 6. Febr. 1585. M. verfaßte verschiedene meteorologische und medicinische Schriften, die damals viel Anerkennung fanden.
