Biographical Presentation
Koch: Gabriel K., bekannter Lepidopterologe, wurde 1807 geboren und starb am 22. Januar 1881. Seine bekanntesten Werke sind: „Die Raupen und Schmetterlinge der Wetterau“ in Isis, 1848; „Die Schmetterlinge des südwestlichen Deutschlands, insbesondere der Umgegend von Frankfurt, Nassau und der hessischen Staaten, nebst Angabe der Fundorte“, Kassel 1856; „Die geographische Verbreitung der europäischen Schmetterlinge in anderen Welttheilen“, Leipzig 1857.
