Dr Helen Harrison has a background in historical musicology. While reading for her study of the music of St Francis Xavier's Cathedral in Adelaide she became interested in Bishop Murphy. Her current research interests include the production of a guide to sacred music and the role of Webbe family and Bishop Murphy in bringing the musical repertoire of the London Embassy chapels to Adelaide (2013)
