    Jonsdorff: Benedict J., Abt des Sandstiftes zu Breslau (1470—1503), einer der vorzüglichsten Geschichtschreiber des Mittelalters in Schlesien, überarbeitete die Klosterchronik seines Vorgängers, des Abtes Jodocus von Ziegenhals, welche sich nur in dieser Umgestaltung erhalten hat und setzte dieselbe bis 1470 fort. Ueber seine Lebensumstände ist wenig bekannt. Die Chronik ist edirt von Stenzel in den SS. rer. Siles. II. 156—286.
