Biographical Presentation
Endres: Johann Nepomuk E., Dr. theol. und seit 1760 ordentlicher öffentlicher Professor des canonischen Rechts und geistlicher Rath in Würzburg. Derselbe gehört zu den bessern Canonisten seiner Zeit, zeigt in seinen Schriften den Anfang einer kritischen Behandlung, unabhängigen Forschung und insbesondere einen patriotischen Sinn, welcher die deutsche Selbständigkeit auch der Curie gegenüber retten will. — „Diss. de necessario iurisprudentiae naturalis cum ecclesiastica nexu, et illius in hac usu“.
