Biographical Presentation
Bode: Heinrich v. B. (Bodinus), Publicist, geb. 6. April 1652 zu Rinteln, † zu Halle 1720. Er studirte anfangs Theologie, später Rechtswissenschaft zu Helmstädt, hielt sich nach 1673 zur weiteren Ausbildung in Speier, Regensburg und Wien und von 1677 an lehrend in Rinteln und Marburg auf; ward|1682 Professor der Decretalen zu Rinteln, von wo man ihn 1693 an die neue Universität zu Halle berief. 1694 ward er auch Consistorialrath, später vom Kaiser geadelt. Seine Arbeiten bestehen zum größten Theil in sehr zahlreichen Dissertationen romanistischen und publicistischen Inhaltes, von denen das Zedler’sche Universallexikon IV. 323 ff. ein Verzeichniß gibt.
