    In Estland, Kurland und auf Oesel verbreitetes Adelsgeschlecht. Zu ihm gehören unter anderem →→Napoleon Hermann (1811–69), russisch General d. Kavallerie, und →Alexander (1824–1911), russisch Wirklicher Geheime(r) Rat und Zivil-Gouverneur von Simbirsk. Zu einer Linie in Preußen gehören: →Wilhelm (1790–1858), preußisch Generalleutnant und Inspekteur der 3. Ingenieurinspektion (s. Priesdorff VI, S. 160), →Ernst (1849–1911), preußisch General d. Infanterie und Kommandierender General des XIV. Armeekorps (s. Wi. 1911), und →Karl (1837–1900), preußisch Major außer Dienst, auf Groß-Mahlendorf und Scharfenberg (Schlesien), Präsident der preußisch Zentral-Genossenschaftskasse, Mitglied des Reichstags und des Abgeordnetenhauses, stellte hier 1885 den zum Gesetz erhobenen Antrag (Lex Huene) über Verteilung des Mehrertrags der im Reich neu eingeführten Zölle.
