    Meißnisches Uradelsgeschlecht, das sich auch nach der Mark Brandenburg, Schlesien und Österreich ausbreitete. Zu ihm gehören auch der braunschweigische Gesandte in Wien Friedrich (Reichsgraf 1689, * 1649), der später in österreichische Dienste trat und Hofkriegsrat wurde, und die preußischen Generalmajore Friedrich Gotthilf (1719-86, s. Priesdorff II, S. 44, Porträt), Konstantin (1857-1920, s. Wi. 1912) und →Kuno (1859–1933).
