    Muthmann: Johann Gottlob M., wahrscheinlich ein Sohn des vorigen, Missionar am Callenbergischen Institute (vgl. Bd. III, S. 707), etwa seit 1745 gräflich Leiningenscher Hofcaplan zu Grünstadt in der Pfalz, ist Verfasser des Liedes „Mein Gott, fürwahr du bist verborgen“, das sich zuerst (?) in der|Wernigerode 1752 erschienenen „Neuen Sammlung geistlicher Lieder“ gedruckt findet.
