Biographical Presentation
Detharding: Dr. Georg Christoph D., geb. zu Güstrow am 10. April 1699, studirte zu Rostock 1715—20, Leipzig 1720 und Halle 1721, arbeitete hernach an den Lazarethen in Amsterdam, Leyden, London u. a. O. und ließ sich 1722 als praktischer Arzt in Rostock nieder. Am 19. Sept. 1733 wurde er an der dortigen Universität Professor der anatomischen Medicin und Mathematik, am 16. April 1749 Hofrath, 1750 Kreisphysikus, ging dann 1760 mit der Akademie nach Bützow, wo er erster Professor der Medicin wurde und im J. 1784 starb. Seine zahlreichen Schriften sind verzeichnet bei Koppe, Jetztleb. gel. Meckl. II. S. 69.
