    Geltar: Herr G. ein lyrischer Dichter des 13. Jahrhunderts aus Neidhart's Schule, nur die Pariser Handschrift hat wenige Strophen erhalten. Die Herren von Mergersdorf, welche der Dichter erwähnt, gehören wol zu dem in Niederösterreich nachweisbaren Geschlecht (Fontes rerum Austriacarum, 2. Abth., 4. Bd. S. 307).
