Biographical Presentation
Stemler: Christoph Gotthelf St., evangelischer Prediger und Pädagog, † nach 1768. St. stammte aus der Familie, welche wir unter dem Artikel Johann Christian St. näher kennen lernen; geboren wie dieser zu Neustadt an der Orla, gebildet zu Schulpforta und Leipzig, erhielt er 1741 den Ruf in das Pfarramt zu Dreba in der Diöcese Neustadt an der Orla, ward hernach Rector zu Döbeln und starb als Privatmann zu Quaschwitz im Voigtlande nach 1768. Seine Schriften sind aufgeführt bei Meusel, Lexikon XIII (1813), 351—352.
