    Höllinger: Johann H., kaiserlicher Hof- und Landbauzeichner im k. Hofbauamt. Geb. zu Wien im J. 1652, gest. ebenda am 17. Februar 1722. H. ist einer der kühnsten Decorationszeichner seiner Zeit; er fertigte hunderte von Entwürfen für Triumphpforten und Decorationsstücke für die großen Adelsfeste, desgleichen stellte er die Decorationen für die großen Freuden- und Luftfeuerwerke her, wie er denn in Beleuchtungsangelegenheiten als Autorität galt. Seine Erfindungsgabe ist eine ganz erstaunliche und sein Erfolg war demgemäß ein bedeutender.
