Biographical Presentation
Büttner: Heinrich Christoph B., geb. zu Ansbach 27. März 1766, † zu Stuttgart 21. Aug. 1816; ward 1788 Advocat, 1789 wirklicher Proceßrath, 1790 Kammerprocurator zu Ansbach, 1794 Cassenbeamter zu Kleinlankheim, 1797 erster Justizamtmann und Justizrath zu Ansbach. Er starb als würtembergischer Oberregierungsrath zu Stuttgart. Seine Schriften betreffen meistens die Geschichte und Topographie der fränkischen Lande: „Fränkisches Archiv“, 3 Bände (herausgeg. mit Keerl u. Fischer 1789—91). „Ansbacher Monatsschrift", 3 Bände (1793—94). „Fränkische Blätter, herausgeg. von Teutemar“ 1795. „Historische und statistische Beschreibung des Rezatkreises“ (herausgeg. mit K. H. Lang, Schulz und Knappe) 1809. „Franconia“, 2 Bde. (1813) etc. Auch erschien von ihm ein Band Gedichte (Dinkelsb. 1793).
