Biographical Presentation
Hunold: Michael H., geb. am 25. October 1621 zu Leisnig in Sachsen, wo sein Vater Stadtmusikus war, besuchte die Schule zu Altenburg und studirte darauf in Jena und Leipzig. Nach absolvirten Studien war er zuerst Rector zu Rochlitz, dann seit dem J. 1649 daselbst Diaconus zu St. Kunigundä und starb nach vielen und schweren Leiden ebenda als Archidiaconus im J. 1672. Er hat einige geistliche Lieder gedichtet, die sich theilweise noch in Gemeindegefangbüchern befinden, wie das Lied: „Mein Jesus kommt, mein Sterben ist vorhanden.“
