    Friederich: Philipp F., aus dem Orden der Gesellschaft Jesu, war bis 1747 ordentlicher Professor des canonischen Rechts in Heidelberg. Seine Schriften: „Idea nomothesiae ecclesiasticae systematis hierarchici fundamentis innixa“, 1746 [neu gedruckt in Schmidt, Thesaurus II, p. 1—40] und „Diss. de eo quod iustum est circa amortizationem ac de orthodoxa et inconcussa eiusdem propugnandae methodo“, 1747 [neu gedruckt in Schmidt, Thesaurus V, p. 687—718] vertreten den römischen Standpunkt, insbesondere das indirecte Recht des Papstes in zeitlichen Dingen.
