    Fellhainer: Fritz F., Volksdichter des 15. Jahrh. Wir besitzen von ihm ein Lied, das ein Passauer Ereigniß aus den J. 1477—78 zum Gegenstande hat. Ein Christ, Namens Christoph Eisengrein, hatte den Juden in Passau das aus einer Kirche gestohlene Sacrament verkauft und diese allerhand Unfug damit getrieben. Die Sache kam aus, die Juden wurden theils verbrannt, theils vertrieben, während ein anderer Theil sich taufen ließ. Das Lied, aus 22 Strophen bestehend, ist nach einer wenig jüngern Handschrift (von 1490) auf der Wiener Bibliothek herausgegeben in R. v. Liliencron's Historischen Volksliedern der Deutschen, II. (Leipzig 1866) S. 142—146.
