Merowech III. Mersch, Jean André van der

  • Biographical Presentation

    Merowech IV., Söhnlein (parvulus) Theudeberts II. (596—612), wurde, als sein Vater bei Toul und bei Zülpich von dessen Bruder Theuderich II. (596—613) geschlagen und auf der Flucht gefangen ward, ebenfalls ergriffen und getödtet: auf Befehl Theuderichs faßte ihn ein Gefolge desselben am Fuß und zerschmetterte ihm das Haupt an einem Felsen.
