    Gottsleben: Johann G., auch Theobius genannt, geb. zu Allendorf in Hessen, 1587 Professor der Philosophie an der hohen Schule zu Herborn (doch fehlt sein Name bei Strieder). Im J. 1598 widmete ihm der berühmte Hoenonius seine zu Jena erschienene Diss. de variis feudorum divisionibus. Später wurde er Hofprediger in Dillenburg, zuletzt in Siegen. Hier starb er 1612.
